Sheila J. Cameron, a native of Truro, Nova Scotia has 17 years of experience practicing law; focused in Family Law including Collaborative Family Law.

She has attended the National Family Program in Muskoka in 2008 and Victoria in 2010.

The founding partner of the law firm in 1998, she continues to take part in the daily management and growth of the business.


Sheila was appointed a member of the Family Justice Task Force, by the Minister of Justice of New Brunswick in 2008, to examine the issues and challenges faced by lawyers and clients in the Family Division of the Court of Queen’s Bench of NB.  The report of that committee is available on the NB Justice and Consumer Affairs website.  It recommends sweeping changes to the daily function of the family court system, with an emphasis on settlement, case management and simplified process.

Sheila is also the founding member of Collaborative Law Moncton and often interviewed by radio and newspaper for matters touching Family Law.  A number of those articles appear under the link In the News.

Sheila is a regular instructor at the Bar Admission Course for the Law Society of New Brunswick.  She often speaks at Canadian Bar Association Family Law sessions on Continuing Legal Education.

In the community, Sheila is a member of the Parent School Support Committee at two Moncton schools.
